Runner Mountain originally started as a one-week project to duplicate aaron2u2's NES Prolific Points but for the TurboGrafx-16. This is an attempt to expand that to multiple consoles and include what was implemented in the TG-16 rankings (e.g. homebrew, hacks, and unlicensed games) but stick closer to the formula that Aaron has essentially perfected.
Systems are slowly being added, and certain things are being tweaked along the way.

Went through the top 1,000 ranked players to see if they had RetroAchievements accounts and about 1/3 did (e.g. exact or fuzzy matches where it was obvious it was the same person). Loaded 100 players and also added the logic to NES games starting with #-L. Seems to be working so far. Still not sure how to link players where it's not obvious; might just be a manual thing where they communicate it via discord or RA.
September was the second month to see if the script for monthly stats works. The comparison to previous month's points is a little wonky, but seems to be showing monthly stats correctly. RA points are not included yet and not entirely sure I want to include based on the nature of how points are earned (SR = a run, submitted, verified, RA = points earned over time, could earn all points for a game in one day or over the course of 5 years, and it would just mean more info to track and slow down the nightly processing).

Genesis games have been added. Still a few that need the bugs worked out, but 95% of the library is there. If you don't include Hacks, Homebrews, or Unlicensed games, this is the first time that Zarc0nis has not been in first place.
In testing mode on adding RetroAchievements points. You can view how it looks on a player profile page on my profile. Some notes and things to work out:
- This only displays RetroAchievements (RA) points if the player has a speedrun for that game (and tracked category). This is by design, I don't want a duplication of RetroAchievements points, but rather something that can be a bonus for speedrunners.
- Filter will be added so users can filter out RA points to only see speedrun (SR) points if they wish.
- Will need to come up with a system to link speedrun usernames with RetroAchievements usernames.
- Will probably just start with NES games, but might not fully implement until the SNES library is added to the speedrun points system (last big library to be added).

Marathon Races added. These are events like Big 20 and NEScathlon. They can be filtered the same as console platforms. Right now the point values are increased by 150% to reflect how the events only occur annually or biannually and tend to bring out the most competitive runners; they are essentially the grand slam events of retro speedrunning. More events will be added like Tiny 10 and others. Adding this data also has the added benefit of having a bit of a historical archive of these events.
Some much needed UI and color scheme changes made.

Badges can be earned for accomplishing certain goals like participating in marathon races (e.g. Big 20 and NEScathlon), playing all games in a series/theme (e.g. playing all NES Black Box games, playing all NES baseball games, playing all NES Mario games, etc.). Available badges can be viewed at https://runnermountain.com/#badges and badges you've earned can be viewed on your player profile page.

Pending runs section added to game pages. After tonight's update, each game will have a pending run section showing SRC runs for the category or categories of that game that haven't been approved yet. You can view what it looks like on the page for R.B.I. Baseball (NES).

Point reductions introduced for minor games (e.g. games where the Any% is losing the game (California Games (NES)) or completion time is extremely short (Taboo (NES), Sid Meier's Pirates! (NES)).
You can view the Curve A, Curve B, Game Value and Point Reduction % for any game by simply typing ?data after the url (for example: https://runnermountain.com/index.html#taboo?data. If there's no point reduction, then the game won't show that column.
